So I see you’re the curious type—I am, too! My name is Lindsay Grauvogel and I’m the Owner and Chief Creative Officer of LOUminate Design.
Like many designers, my creativity can’t possibly be confined to my 9-to-5, bring-home-the-bacon gig—thus, LOUminate Design was born. This is where I can do what I love best—create unique thing-a-ma-jigs and what-cha-ma-call-its that surprise and delight others.
What’s in a name?
Lou
One of my many nicknames is LindsayLou or sometimes just plain Lou. And that’s what you get when you engage with me—one-on-one, genuine interaction with Lou. To me, you’re not just another number. You’re a client AND a friend.
Illuminate
The definition of “illuminate” is to make something understandable or to clarify, or to provide or brighten with light. My guiding principles for everything I do is to do it with clarity and to surprise and delight others. These two principles are captured perfectly with the word luminate (another form of the word illuminate).
Design
The definition of “design” is to plan and make something for a specific use or purpose. I love problem-solving and I love creating—these are my super powers.
